I'm the Katie behind Katie Hardy Photography. Born and raised in Louisiana, I am a true southern girl! I currently live in central Florida, but have lived all over the US. My business is based in Northern Virginia, but I am not opposed to travel! I am a documentary and true to life photographer...

Ok? What even is that!? Basically, I'm obsessed with capturing real and raw emotions. I try to keep our sessions fun, light, and stress free. I am a mama of 5, so believe me when I say that I know how hard it can be to get everyone to sit in front of the camera...look at you like a deer in the headlights... and say "cheese" with a half smile. SOOO...we don't do very much if any of that around here.
